Statistics: Russia’s gold output falls 13% on year in June

MOSCOW, Jun 16 (PRIME) -- Russia’s production of finished, semi-finished, and powdered gold fell 13% on the year but rose 26.5% on the month in June, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a report on Monday.

In January–June, gold production decreased 1.2% on the year.

Previously, absolute figures on production of non-ferrous metals were a state secret. The figures are no longer classified, but the government does not publish them.
